In the aftermath of the attack on innocent civilians in Pahalgam, India launched a decisive and precise retaliation. According to Defence Minister Rajnath Singh, the Indian Army successfully executed 'Operation Sindoor' targeting terrorist camps in Pakistan-occupied Kashmir and across the Pakistani border.
“This operation stands as a shining example of the Army’s precision and moral restraint,” said Rajnath Singh. He clarified that only pre-determined terrorist targets were struck and that the armed forces exercised utmost caution and compassion to avoid harm to ordinary civilians.
He also expressed gratitude for Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s unwavering support. Singh made these remarks during the inauguration of 50 infrastructure projects completed by the Border Roads Organisation (BRO).
“This was a proportionate and effective response to an assault carried out on Indian soil,” the Minister stated. Conducted with the aim of breaking the morale of the terrorists, the operation showcased the Army’s pinpoint accuracy and the nation’s firm resolve in the face of aggression.
Once again, the Indian Army has etched its role in history by safeguarding the nation’s security and ideals with steadfast commitment.
