All-party diplomatic mission to clarify India’s stance internationally

An all-party delegation is being formed to clarify India’s position on global platforms regarding sensitive issues including ‘Operation Sindoor’. The delegation will be led by senior Congress leader and Chairman of the Parliamentary Standing Committee on External Affairs, Dr. Shashi Tharoor. The delegation comprising five to six members will travel to eight countries, including the US, UK, Japan, South Africa, Qatar, and the UAE.

With representatives from multiple Indian political parties, the aim of this mission is to engage in diplomatic dialogue with foreign nations and clearly articulate India’s national security interests. The opposition parties, including the Congress, have agreed to participate in this diplomatic initiative following an invitation from the central government.
